Tentang PPI Wageningen

PPI (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia) Wageningen atau ISA (Indonesian Student Association) adalah organisasi yang menjadi wadah aktivitas sosial para pelajar Indonesia yang sedang melaksanakan studi di negara Belanda, khususnya di kota Wageningen. Sejarah berdirinya PPI di Wageningen tidak dapat dilepaskan dari PPI secara keseluruhan di Belanda.

PPI di Wageningen dibentuk pada tahun 1987 dan semua kegiatannya mengacu pada Anggaran Dasar (AD) dan Anggran Rumah Tangga (ART) yang berlaku untuk semua cabang PPI di Belanda. Selain beranggotakan para pelajar Indonesia aktif, PPI Wageningen juga memiliki beberapa anggota kehormatan. PPI Wageningen merupakan bagian dari PPI Belanda yang diketuai oleh seorang SekJen PPI dan berpusat di Den Haag. PPI Belanda sendiri berada dibawah koordinasi Kedutaan Besar RI untuk Kerajaan Belanda.

Tujuan Organisasi

PPI Wageningen memiliki tujuan:

  1. mengembangkan dan mensinergikan potensi diri para pelajar Indonesia di Kota Wageningen
  2. menjalin silaturahmi antarsesama pelajar maupun dengan warga Indonesia di Kota Wageningen dan di Kerajaan Belanda pada lingkup yang lebih luas
  3. mempertahankan dan memperkenalkan nilai dan budaya bangsa Indonesia
