Dances and Angklung in Action! - PPI Wageningen

Musical get Together
Combination of good friends, food, live music, and cultural twist which was held in Thuis by ISOW, Wageningen, on 16 January 2016. Ratoh doek’s (Aceh traditional dance) from PPIW was proud to be part of this event and spread the richness of our cultural tradition to all the audience from various background.
 
Winter AID
Cold weather and strong wind did not prevent PPIW to contribute in Global Village event during Winter AID session on 11 February 2016. We performed 2 songs (Can’t takes my eyes off of you and Love me tender) with angklung, Ratoh doek dance, Topeng dance, and also prepared stand with some traditional foods from Indonesia such as fried banana and bala-bala. The audience could try bala bala with the different level of spicy of the sauce. It was a nice event to introduce our culture to the WUR environment, especially new students from February 2016 intake.
