Pada hari Sabtu 20 Februari 2016 yang lalu, Divisi Kekeluargaan Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Wageningen (PPIW) mengadakan acara “Spring Gathering.” Acara ini merupakan 1 dari 4 rangkaian “Seasonal Gathering” yang akan diadakan oleh Divisi Kekeluargaan PPIW pada tahun 2016. Mengacu pada nama acaranya, “Gathering,” acara ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan warga Indonesia yang tinggal di Wageningen untuk mempererat tali silaturahmi sambil beraktivitas santai bersama.

Spring Gathering kali ini dilaksanakan di Forum Building, ruang C214, dari pukul 11.30-15.00 CET. Dalam acara ini, para peserta disuguhi dengan berbagai games, seperti games perkenalan yang bertujuan agar para peserta semakin kenal satu sama lainnya, dan games tebak kalimat yang bertujuan untuk membangun kekompakan para peserta. Untuk semakin memeriahkan acara, berbagai macam hadiah dan doorprize telah disiapkan seperti tiket menonton bola gratis, voucher makan gratis, hingga sepeda gratis. Tentunya ini berkat kerja sama juga dengan berbagai sponsor seperti Fiki Fiets, Zoera Tour & Travel, Waroeng 7A10, serta Divisi Kewirausahaan PPIW. Di sela-sela acara, para peserta dapat juga mengunjungi “Garage Sale” di ruang C211 yang diadakan oleh Divisi Kewirausahaan PPIW. Berbagai macam barang dengan harga miring dapat peserta temui dalam Garage sale ini. Acara dimeriahkan pula dengan makan siang bersama, yang dilanjutkan dengan sesi sharing para peserta. Sesi ini bertujuan untuk berbagi pengalaman serta harapan di antara peserta. Tidak diduga, sesi ini memunculkan cerita-cerita unik dan menarik yang semakin menghangatkan suasana.
