On Sunday, April 28, 2019, Indonesians student association in Wageningen (PPI Wageningen) managed to visit one of the popular tourist attractions in the Netherlands, Keukenhof.  Keukenhof is one of the world’s largest flower gardens located in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands.

There were 20 people going to Keukenhof, so the group tickets could apply. You can buy a group ticket if there are at least 20 persons in a group. While non-group ticket costs 17Euro if you buy it online (18euro for buying on-the-spot), it costs cheaper for group ticket of which 14.75Euro. Although you might think the ticket is quite expensive, it is worth a visit!

This Keukenhof tour was led by Anthony as the chief of Internal division of PPI Wageningen. It takes about 3 hours from Wageningen by bus and train and we got there at 11 a.m. As we arrived at the gate of Keukenhof, we took a picture of us and then we started going inside the garden.

As we went inside the Keukenhof, we saw many kinds of Tulips and they all were extremely beautiful! If you are a flower lover, we truly recommend you to visit and explore this garden, and don’t forget to photograph your moment there!

All of us were enjoying our visit to Keukenhof despite it was cloudy and ever drizzling. Time went so fast that day, we just realized that it was already 6 pm and we had to go back to the small town, Wageningen. This Keukenhof trip is a kind of recharging our mind before facing the exam, assignment and thesis deadline.
