April: Ramadhan dan Kartini - PPI Wageningen

Ngabuburit dan Buka Puasa Bersama

Ramadhan telah bergulir, sebagian pelajar indonesia khususnya muslim mulai menjalankan ibadah puasa untuk pertama kalinya jauh dari dapur ibu. Untuk merekatkan nuansa ramadhan di Wageningen, PPI Wageningen bekerjasama dengan Pengajian Wageningen mengadakan serangkaian acara pada Jumat, 8 April 2022. Diawali dengan ngabuburit di Forum, divisi Student talent menghadirkan spot untuk mewarnai, merajut kain, menyimpul gelang khas Dayak dan boardgames. Kegiatan ini menarik perhatian khususnya anak-anak dari pelajar indonesia. Selain itu, diadakan tausiah singkat oleh Ust. Dr. Fahrizal Yusuf Affandi (ketua PBNU bidang ekonomi dan lingkungan hidup) dan dilanjutkan buka puasa bersama dan sholat magrib berjamaah di ruang VIP Forum.

Setelah itu, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan makan malam bersama di lantai 1 forum (kantin) yang terbuka untuk seluruh pelajar indonesia dan keluarganya. Suasana ramai dan menjadi momentum silaturrahmi antar pelajar Indonesia, baik yang menjalankan atau tidak menjalankan ibadah puasa. Momentum inklusif ini mengingatkan asas toleransi dan kerukunan masyarakat Indonesia yang terjaga oleh nilai-nilai budayanya.

Hari Kartini: Emancipation of Indonesian Women

PPI Wageningen melalui divisi Public Services turut menyemarakkan hari besar Kartini. Pesan dan semangatnya digaungkan bersama dengan menghadirkan photobooth Kartini di ground floor Forum, pada 21 April 2022. Melalui proyektor, ditanyangkan beberapa tokoh perempuan Indonesia yang telah berkarya dan berpengaruh. Spot ini menarik perhatian tidak hanya mahasiswa Indonesia untuk berfoto, juga mahasiswa internasional.
